We can’t change many of the things that make learning at home difficult, but we can put one proven idea to work – schedule time for children (and teachers) to move every day. The Sports Institute is asking K-5 teachers to include 15-minutes of daily physical activity as part of their remote learning plans this year. One easy way to do this is through The Daily Mile, which gets children to jog or run – at your own pace (brisk walking OK) – for 15 minutes during the school day.
